I have larvae ribbed newts and i noticed some are missing a leg. when i feed them they go into a feeding frenzy and eat whatever is near them hence the missing leg. i did separate them by size just wondering will the limbs grow back while in the larvae stage?

Limbs will grow back at any age

Like stupot1610 said, yes, it will grow, but will not be like the ''factory'' one, it will be smaller and not so perfect.... So, if they are all for you, keep it, you will not like him less because that, but if you want to sell it later maybe you need to think in another alternative...
Thats very common in larvae stage if you have lots of larvae in a small tank (or not so small) they are agressive feeders and dont care it are other larvaes or food, ''if it move, I want eat it!''
So you can enlarge your tank or put lots of plants, and feed more abundantly!
All the best
