Can anyone ID this larvae? And, more importantly, is it safe to feed to spotted sals?
I found a writhing mass of them underneath a layer of leaf litter in a moist spot in the woods of southern VT. Nothing that I'm getting from Lens looks quite right, and I don't want to incorrectly ID them and end up poisoning my sals.
I have a few other observational deets if it would help.
