Hi, today I found that my axolotl (Ares) is missing his left arm.
I think his tankmate/wife bit it off.
There is a little bit of white stuff on it, but I think that's loose tissue rather than fungi.
When two of my babies (his offspring) lost limbs, I put some tea in their container and their limbs grew back fine. As an adult I know that his limbs may not grow back perfect (in fact his hands were a little bit mutant looking when I first got him, so they probably wont grow back normal anyway).
That's a bit off topic, anyway my question is
Does anyone remember the tea bath recipe?
I did a quick search but I can't find it.
Or can give me advice on helping an axolotl with raw tissue wound recover.
And on one more note, I just feed Ares two worms I he ate them up, so at least his appetite isn't compromised.
