Hey everybody, i'm very proud to say that i just got another new axie since my last juvi one passed away :(
This new one is 4 inches and chubby! Haha. Odd thing is, he is a leucistic with what seems as a mix with golden albino and created an axie with a white body and yellow spots! There are no shiney pigments in him yet he has pink eyes, has anyone ever seen this morph??

I was wondering if the colours of his spots fade as he grows old? I REALLY like this guy he's a very good eater and healthy too :D

Here are some photos of the axie, i named it Pixi <3

Well, he's not 'leucistic' in the normal sense, as it's obviously an albino. But it does seem to have a leucistic color pattern. With the lack of iridophores, it's also probably melanoid, but that's just educated guessing. That would make it genotypically a/a, m/m, d/d. The only way to know for sure is through a series of controlled breedings.

While coloration in larvae is plastic, by the time they're that size, it's probably going to stay that color (give or take).

Thanks for replying!
Do you think maybe Pixi is an white albino? Or is he just an axie with freckles? Haha.

whatever Pixi is, it is super adorable, and i want one colored like that! And that name is sooooo cute! :D

Your axolotl is awesome, now I may have to get a golden albino. I'm going to need a 100 gallon tank for all these axies :D
