Hello. I am so lost after trying to read up on what kind of lightning to have when I have plants in the newt's aquarium. I've read these kinds of newts shouldn't really be exposed to uv light that much, so what kind of light is good to have both for my newt and for the plants? The plants are simple ones that shouldn't need much care, I have a ''regular'' light tube that has been in this aquarium for years and obviously that is not optimal for the plants.

Please tell me what you guys have (if you have live plants that are doing well).

Thank you.

Good question, LED's are measured in lumens rather than watts and you need to convert. I think I worked mine out to be equivalent to about 60ish watts.
