The first time i ever laid eyes on an axolotl was at pet shop in Houston when i was about six years old. The clerk told me it was a Mudpuppy and let me put my hand in the tank to touch it, and it was love at first pet.
Now (many years later) thanks to a member from this site, I've got a batch of baby axies that I'm mothering for friends, and hoping to get more to keep for myself.
Any tips or words of wisdom will be greatly appreciated, as I'll be asking plenty of questions in the months to come.
