I know this isn't technically amphibian related, but I thought that since this was such a great resource for exotic pets that I might as well post here. Basically I'm looking for forums/websites on reptiles (specifically lizards and more specifically geckos) similar to this site. I've tried the Pangea forums with very little luck and I was wondering if anyone on here had advice on where to go.
And question number 2: anyone know where to legally sell pets? I'm looking into small scale breeding locally but I'm having trouble finding somewhere to sell the animals, so if anyone knows of a safe site/facebook page/ community where I could sell lizards that would be great.
Again, I know this isn't amphibian related, but I thought I'd ask anyway.
Thanks to anyone who can help!

I was recently thinking about asking basically the same question, specifically with snakes in mind, so I would be very interested in responses! I was hoping there was something a lot like this website.

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
