Out of all my animals my terrestrial popei are perhaps the pickiest of eaters. I can not get then to eat anything except springtails, and fruit flies. I have tried whole earthworms worms, cut eartworms, diced earthworms, bloodworms, blackworms, whiteworms, and diced shrimp. They are almost a year old and show no signs of lack of nutrition, and they are on par weightwise. Is anyone else experiencing this type of issue with popei or is it just me. All my other species relish earthworms in one form or another, and eat at least two other types of food from the above list. Do you think I will have more luck when they go aquatic? I just want the best for them and they could care less. It is like dealing with my three year old......

you can try them to go aquatic. Normally they are better eaters in water. You can also try to feed little parts of earthworm with a tweezer. They have to get used to a kind of food. As long as it moves, it will be interesting for them. Non live food on land, will not be eaten

For picky eaters, the holy grail of foods are waxworms. No kidding, i have yet to find an animal that doesn´t go crazy for them.
Training them to eat from tweezers is very useful with picky eaters too, since once trained they´ll accept a variety of foods just because they are being offered from the tweezers.
