Magic nights for amphibian in Spain)

Hello, This October i stay all the month in the NE of spain. I'm stay this month for work (I'm bird ringer), and i stay in a house in the middle of natural Parc (WOW!!!). In this month there are raining days, 9 to14th of october, the nights of this raining days, i'm go to the forest, and around the house for look salamanders or newts......

Salamanders in water!!!! i found 4 or 5 exs. stay in water, and swimming for long time,etc...in one monthe i only see salamanders in water, 2 nights.

I found many exs. in land (around the house!!), and some in water...

I had to go and check all my marmoratus juvies were still in their vivarium...they look just the one on the photos

WOW! That must have been incredible! Great photos as well! And you took pictures of my favorite trees in the world. Love European Beeches! We have similar forests of F. grandifolia all around my home. Thanks for sharing those!

wow.wow.wow. My heart is bleeding - I wanna go to Spain now and go herping! The Salamandras esp. are just incredible
