Male ACF fertilized eggs

On April 19th my female started laying eggs on her own in a tank. She laid maybe 20-30 eggs before i realized it. So i tossed the male in they mated and laid eggs all on the sides of the tanks. Afterwards the male then went to the eggs she had already laid and awkwardly stood over them for a bit and i took him out. Figured the eggs she laid on her own would be duds but they all developed but like 2. So i suppose the male fertilized them on his own.
 
How do you know those specific eggs hatched? did you watch them develop ?
 
I watched them developed and made sure no eggs were eaten before i could remove the adults. She laid like all the ones on her own in one corner the rest were mostly on the sides and piled in the moss i added when i added the male.

ACF stands for African clawed frog, in this case X.laevis. The pic below is one of mine
