I just came back from a two night camping thing, and what better welcome home present could my axies give their Momma...one mangled leg coming right up.(the white stuff isnt a fungus, yes Im sure, its just a flap of skin, ouch)Poor girl is in a mild salt bath solution in the fridge right now, she didnt want to eat before I put her in there, eating wouldnt be the first thing on my mind if my leg looked like that either...

anything extra I can do to help her heal faster?

heres the second try for the photo...first one is huge

Just give it some time and make sure it doesn't get infected. You should probably keep it in cooler water, that way theres a less chance of bacteria growing. BTW do you still live in Hawaii? Whered you get your axolotls?

Yeah, the fridge should be pretty cold...
and yeah, I still live in Hawaii, Im over on Maui though...i applied for a permit to ship axos in a few years back i ended up with a male and a female...they must've liked eachother cuz now i have six of their kids, all wilds and leucies, my golden i found at a pet store here...she was in pretty bad shape, so were the others. i havent seen any in the pet stores over here since then, except for the ones i sell them.
btw when did you get the spotted sallie in ur pic- i saw one in the pet store at alamoana back in july

I got it in july. That same salamander is still at Alamoana. I got mines at Kahala pets discount. They treat animals better there.
