I do not have any aquatics but my vet has recommended I still treat tap water with a de-choramine solution. The trouble is I only need one or two gallons at a time so I've came up with a solution. Diabetic syringes, 30 units, are .3ml. This has made it easy for me to dispense the solution in only the quantities I need. I've been rinsing them out and letting them airdry before putting the cap back on but I'll probably replace them every 3/4 uses to make sure something doesn't build up in there.
