I was able to get my tank set up after my buddy gave me his Filstar XP1 for the wonderful price of a case of beer
and I was able to set up a loop of PEX piping inside my small mini fridge below the table the tank is sitting on. with the window cracked and a small fan blowing across the top of the water the tank stays nicely at about 66-68 or lower sometimes. we sometimes also float a bottle of frozen water if need be but everything seems to be working fine.
I ordered my Axolotls from Jay here and he ended up slipping in a third one that was a surprise! so we have two GFP wild types (Mudkip the small one and Reptar the larger one) and a GFP leucistic (Whitey) They seem to be doing quite well. I have Mudkip floating in a Tupperware container with holes in it because he is too small to be on a sandy substrate. I have mainly been feeding them frozen blood worm gum drops, and some live brine shrimp, and the pellets jay sent on occasion. Any way here are some pictures of the little guys and my tank.
Hope you enjoy. I also welcome any questions comments and friendly criticisms
(Reptar)

(Whitey)(not as photogenic, or probably my fault lol)
