Hey everyone. This is my first post on here so bare with me
. I've recently finished cycling my axolotls tank and I put him in yesterday. He has been active and eating great. He also pooped. Today I noticed he has pinkish coloring on his back leg that I have never seen. I'm wondering if its a bacteria or maybe the sand substrate rubbing his leg raw? He was tubbed for the first 2 months thats I had him, I changed his water daily. I'm using seachem black flourite sand in this tank. Its a 40 gallon breeder. I tried to get a good picture but this is all I could get. He was also lifting his leg up like this. View attachment 90492View attachment 90493 View attachment 90491His tank parameters are:
Ammonia: 0 ppm
Nitrites: 0ppm
Nitrates: 40 ppm
pH: 7.6~8
Any advice would help. This is my first axolotl and I want to keep him happy and safe
