Hi guys
i just bought a 2nd hand mini Dolphin TEM chiller at very cheap price $40:bowl:
i have tested it works!
this mini chiller is 225watts and rated for 2FT 60Liters tank
but i am going to use it for 2 half filled 1.5FT tank = total 40Liters
see picture of the mini-chiller below
the questions i have
1) how do i connect the 2 small internal filters in each 1.5FT tank to this single chiller?
2) my small internal filters are rated at only 2watts 200L/hr. do you think the flowrate is too slow for 1.5FT tank?
3) i am also looking at a temp controller like below to control the temp and save some electricity. it supply power to the mini-chiller and it has a temp sensor which can be dropped into the tank, once water hit 23 degrees( i set it) it will turn on the TEM chiller again to cool the tank.
what do you think about this idea?
do you think this can work for 2 1.5FT newts tank?
thanks
