Missing skin

i raised 3 leucistics from some eggs i had. when they started to get a bit bigger i noticed that one of them had a back leg tucked into his body which he never used . other than that he was fine and grew the fasted out of all 3.

a few weeks ago i noticed a pink stump growing from his back area. at first i thought it was a prolapse but at a closer look i realised that he may be growing another leg.

i then thought i would like to get an even better look from underneath as i had never viewed them this way before. i found a little plastic tank and put him in to my horror i saw this ! i couldnt tell you how long it has been like this and i have never come across anything like this before.

the other 2 i raised in the same tub are fine and do not have any signs of this.

does anybody know what this is ? or what may have caused it. other than this he seems fine , no strange behaviour and still eats like a pig.

From the photo, it appears to be a super-transparent patch of skin. Would that be an accurate description? If the animal acts normally, I think there isn't anything you can or should do. Perhaps make sure there isn't anything in the tank he could get scratched on, as that skin may be very delicate.

yes it does look transparent . it looks like there is just one layer of skin , very thin.
where the rest of him looks like nice thick skin.

he has a bare bottom tub with a few rocks nothing he could damage himself on.
