More variety of colors?

Im thinking of adding some more color to my viv with more plantlife, in particular a red plant.. I'm wondering if there are any species like java moss or duckweed that are differently colored? Im really just looking for an alternative to green to give my viv some more variety and depth.. I have a 10 gallon long with about 4 inches of water in it.. Any suggestions?

tradescanthia i believe will do quite well as long as it isn't completely submerged and it comes in a range of colours:
