Moss

I bought a package of moss in a plastic bag quite a while ago, and it looks nice in my N. Viridescens tank. I thought it was just a substrate for the land. I recently realized that you can actually grow the moss from the plastic bag. How do you do this? I have the moss on a bare rock.

Seems obvious, but did it come with instructions? Can you contact where you got it from?

No, it didn't come with instructions. It just said "All-Natural Sphagnum Moss".

Sphagnum can be fairly acidic. I wouldn't recommend it in most salamander tanks.
