My axalotal has a cut on her foot its red and swallown

Hi i rescued 2 axalotal over the weekend. Has the guy said he no longer wanted them. They both came in the same tank whitch has to be bigger. Im doing this Tuesday. One of them has a red foot its swallow and looks to have a cut there.. The water his fine ive done all the checks. But when they came to me this silly person had kept them in temp of 70 i have there water at the right temp now any help please. X

is your axolotl able to bring its foot down, because of the positioning in the photos his/her foot damage looks like it has been done by another axolotl.
for mild infections using holtfreters in the water will help, reducing the temperature to 15°c or lower will also aid in the healing, using almond/catappa leaves in the tank may also be beneficial, methyline blue baths may help.
if the foot doesn't improve or the leg returning to original position then a trip to the vet may be required.
also there does seem to be damage to the tail as well, how is the other axolotl?
even though everything is the same (I assume filtration is the same etc..) as original setup this doesn't mean it was adequate, please monitor the water levels for fluctuations.
how is the other axolotl?
what it the condition of their gills?
