Hi! You should either remove the plants with the egss from the tank, or remove the adults. They'll eat the eggs. If you put the eggs in a container, you can remove them from the plants but you don't need to. I think I ended up changing the water twice when mine were growing. I also had a gentle airstone in there. The eggs don't really need filtration, an airstone, or water changes really. I've heard it's best to just leave them alone honestly. To prevent fungus, you can put in an indian almond leaf. Shallow, flat tubs are best. I think this helps give the water more air for the eggs, but I'm not sure. Eggs are really easy to take care of. Don't worry about them too much.

As for prepping for babies, you need to secure a source of brine shrimp eggs and a way to hatch them asap. The babies won't eat dead food and daphnia young are usually on the large side. Most people hatch brine shrimp daily. Depending on how many viable eggs you have, you may need more than two hatcheries. I had 304 eggs, 207 viable. I have 203 babies now. I'm using two two-liter bottles to hatch the shrimp. I harvest one hatchery twice a day and restart it after. Then i use the other hatchery for the next day. My babies get water changes twice a day, before I feed them (so basically clearing out old food and giving them fresh water before a new meal). You'll need to hatch shrimp for them until they have their front legs coming in. I've just started mine on a mix of live brine shrimp and minced defrosted bloodworms. Sorry if you already knew all that! If you didn't, I'd be happy to give more info. Pm or reply. Good luck with your eggs!! :)

Did you want to sell any of them??

I may be interested in eggs/young larvae as well.
Hello there :) I will have some juveniles ready to be shipped probably within a month. If you PM me, I can let you know when they're ready to go. They hatched at the end of February, so they're getting to be a good size. I have some black melanoids and wildtypes I think. I have to take a closer look at their eyes. I'd gladly send pictures :) (even if you just want to see them) There are 150+, probably closer to 200.

Hey! are you still interested?
so you know- it isn't recommended to ship baby axolotls until they are around 3 inches and have their hind limbs fully developed. Before that they are just too fragile to have a good chance of surviving shipping. This will take about three months. My eggs were laid around February 22 and most of the babies are a good two inches or so. Just for reference :)
