Hey all I've been on here for quite a few months but I realized last night I haven't posted many pictures of my axies all grown up! SO I thought I'd post some and let you guys see them
30gallon: Kit (Albino Male), Kip (Albino Female), and Glenn (Melanoid Female {P.S, I know it's a guys name but I don't feel like changing it }) I'm hoping to have my two albino's breed, and all 3 are 7" big.
20gallon: Axel (Wild-type male) and Kirby (Leucistic something) <-- Kirby was deformed at birth and I adopted 'him'. Kirby is stunted and has tiny limbs. 'His' stunted finger tips have darkened and look like nail polish, so i'm assuming that means he is sexually mature?? P.S, if anyone could hopefully tell me what gender Kirby is, I'd be eternally grateful! Kirby is 6" and Axel is 8".

I had one of those fake coconut hides for a few weeks. Then the inside paint started to flake off in really large, thick chips. Yours might be different than what I bought, but still something to keep an eye out for.

Yep! Kirby is a Leucistic. The best way to tell is to look at his eyes. If they are black he still has some pigments showing up in his genetics. Those little dots are just some of his pigment coming through. A lot of Leucistic will develop spots only on the top of their bodies. Mine has the same little freckles on her face too.

Can you get a clearer picture of Kirby's cloacal region (the spot right behind his back legs)?
