My axolotl has a swollen side

Can anybody help My axolotl is 6 years old and hasn't eaten in 12 days and hasnt pooed in 9 he has a buldge on his side which hasn't moved I have fridged him for the last 2 days and it hasn't helped I keep his water clean and am still offering food but he isnt interested. I'm also not sure if he is actually a he eather Is this something I can fix or do I have to watch him die.

is there anything that has changed lately that could account for his/her change in appetite ie.. temperature spikes, filter change etc..
was the bulge noticeable before he/she stopped eating, if not how long has it been noticeable.
is there anything small enough to swallow in the tank.
other than bloodworm what else does he/she eat.
what chemicals are used in the tank, ie.. dechlorinators, any salts/minerals.
what is the tank setup, ie.. any substrate, air stones etc..

Don't watch him die! Hopefully with a bit more information we may be able to offer advice. Sometimes however the only advice may be a trip to a vet.
