Hello, thank you for reading.
I am desperate for help, I’ve tried scouring the web for answers but I haven’t found a solution. I recently got a new 75 gal tank for my axolotl and things were going great until I moved her. She hasn’t eaten in about 2 weeks, but I suspect that she’s eaten the ghost shrimp that were going to be her tankmates as I cannot find any of the 4 I put in…they are also very hard to find. So, it’s hard to know.
Any earthworm, however, she will snap at and spit out. I’ve tried cutting them into smaller pieces but same results. I’ve tested the water parameters but they all seem normal. I cycled the tank for two weeks, or at least I believe I have, but I’m newer to the hobby so please let me know if I’m wrong. These are my water parameters:
64 F
0 Ammonia
Low hardness
0 Nitrate
0 Nitrite
7.4 ph
80 KH
Is this stress from moving? I’ve read that this is only supposed to last at max a week. I need help, I’m very worried. The only thing that’s been reassuring me is that she still looks plump and cute and explores the tank like she did in her old one.
Any ideas?
(Sorry my photo is dark. She’s hard to get photos of).
