I got my first axolotl at the very end of april, he seemed to be doing really well, he ate straight away and was very active.
About a month later i got a second one, who seems to be doing very well. when i first got them i already had mudkip (first one) in a small tank maybe 10g which he seemed to enjoy and i put toothless (second) in there for a few days for them to get used to each other and if they would be okay in the same tank.
i later moved them both into a 30g tank and for a few days they were both eating normally but about a week ago mudkip has suddenly lost all intrest in food and hasnt eaten anything since. im starting to get very worried as im afraid his gills are sometimes curled forward and same with his tail. hes also starting to look very thin.
i dont have access to test the water levels and im assuming if they were bad they both wouldnt be doing well? were as toothless seems to be very happy?
here are photos of each axie and my tank
