Haha these are two females, Bela (the gold one) and Freda!

Bela was my first axie and I have a especial care about her

Here are some more photos of Pandora (Freda's sister) and the last photos are of Suppy. I separate him in other tank because I will try to breed them! o/

Suppy looks quite handsome - I love the last picture! ACTION POSE! Haha!

Bela looks so beautiful and healthy! I also love that you can tell that Pandora is Freda's sister, but she has a little more green than Freda. Lovely as usual!

And here is the difference between the first day of Suppy with me, when I bought him, and now!

He has recovered himself faster than I thought, these little guys still surprise me

Got our 1st Axolotl back in July, just put him in a new 16g bow tank. Here is Diego and his new home. He likes watching football, so I mounted a lil LCD in there for him (top right).. Just kidding, but it looks like it from the reflection :)

Hahahaha!

I don't like football very much, but I loved your photo and the Diego's LCD!
Also, he is very cute, and has a little yellow, right?

The light that I have turned on is one of those LED ones with a day and night setting. The night has blue lights, similar to the black light effect and even when the regular light is one, those blue ones are on too. He has the Glow protein in him and that makes him look a little yellow under this light.

Here is a pic of him under the black light.

@The-Axolotl, im a hug energy when it comes to axolotls, and decided i might as well “shoot my shot” and try to make a living out of it. lots of inspiration taken from margie, who used to breed and sell here on caudata- she was raising about 1000 juveniles at a time, which is my end goal

@Albi_the_axolotlt have you made a thread on the forums about your axolotl having this problem?

  • Elder_Axolotl:
@Albi_the_axolotlt I would definitely make a thread about this, but before you panic try putting you axolotl in a tub where the water only goes about an inch above it, and then cool the water down SLOWLY, like a couple ice cubes at a time, to about 50 Deg F. sometimes this helps them pass gas, or even have a bowel movement. Just make sure the Temps from your current enclosure and the tub are within 4 degrees of each other and not higher than 65 Deg F. so you dont Temp shock your baby.

well I don't know how to make a thread and I am very thankful for your help but the real reason I am worried about is that it goes away and comes back constantly like its gets better today then tomorrow morning she is at the top of the tank floating on her side all bubbled up? I do put her in a container with just enough water to cover her back and it helped but it gets annoying and scary when it's consantly happening and I am worried I am doing something horrible wrong.
