Hello all,
I just got my first Axi, Gunther, from a reptile show 2 days ago. Personally I think he looks great and he is a very good eater! Right now he is getting Hikari Bio-Pure blood worms because that was his diet while with the breeder, I thought it would make for an easier transition. He is only 3.5-4 inches long and I don't want to over feed the little guy. Right now he is getting half a cube a day and he eats them all! Should I give him more? Less? Also I'm attempting to attach some images of the little guy. Some experts reassuring me that he looks healthy would go a long way to ease my mind. Thanks in advance!
Best,
Tyler

If he's 3.5 to 4 inches, then I would suggest a cube of bloodworms. I good rule for feeding is that his body width is same or close to the width of his head, so feed accordingly! For variety, I would suggest salmon pellets (sinking) or cut up earthworms (cut to slightly less than the size of his body).
