I had been anticipating the arrival of my first axolotls....and they are finally here!

I'm curious, since I'm trying to find axolotls of my own as well, how are you going to set up their habitat? I know that they are quite aggressive to each other in their earlier months, and may each each other. Are you keeping them separated until they grow older?

Also......where did you get them from!?

They're looking great, and adorable!

If you keep them well fed and give them enough space they are generally fine.

Thanks guys :)

Well I have an aquarium set up for when they get older...but I was told by the breeder at this size they would be better in small tubs so they could find their food easier. He said keep them in separate tubs like this for a couple of months till they get bigger. I got them from Feeder Frenzy Reptiles. :)

Their first go at live brine shrimp. My local pet store was out of live black worms...so I thought I would try this...and even though you can't see it in the pictures they are loving the brine.
