As an overly proud mom I would like to introduce Balian Rai to everyone. He was born on April 28th 2008 at 8:35 am. He weighs 7lbs 13oz and is 20 inches long.

I thought that strange appendage, best visible in the second picture, with the finger-like protrusions on the end was its gill.
