my newt tank

Here is my new tank! It is 10 gallons, and I have 1 paddletail newt in it. He has two hides, a waterfall, a turtle dock, and an aquarium plant. The lid is tight-fitting and has a light built in. What do you think?

Is the light in the hood a flourescent light or incandescent lights?
If they are incandescents then they may raise the temperature of the tank too much for the newt.

I think they are just regular incandescant, but I don't turn them on much at all.
