Do you have a haul-out for them? MIne spend about 1/2 the time on land and 1/2 in water.

They got two pieces cork bark and they can climb on the portruding part where the waterfall starts. I have my animals since they were juvies, but for some reason they almost never leave the water. They're in their new tank for a couple of days now and they continue their "normal" behaviour, but the conditions in their former tank were almost the same.
