So I got my chiller and filter and now I have massive condensation issues, the rain does not help heh much more humid than usual.

So I searched the site for advice on getting rid of the condensation.
About the only thing I found was to put glad wrap / saran wrap around the tank up against the glass. I'm yet to try this but after speaking to my father he suggested I could use some anti fog windscreen spray, maybe some rain repellent might also work as to keep it from building up to much.

what are you guys thoughts of this I can't see it being any sort of health issue for the axolotls unless I mess up and get some in the tank.

On a side note, I have 2 log ornaments on the way and a few silk plants I decided to go artificial as this is my first tank I think it is best to keep it as simple as can be when I first start out.

Sand reduced, chiller and filter hooked up, hides and artificial plants added may add a rock in a few days just to add a bit more to it.

It looks nice, maybe a bit more structure and some plants would do the trick - even if they are fake plants

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
