Hello All!

I have a good 11" mudpuppy in a 20 long turtle tank (soon to be 20 gallon long) with an aerator and HOB filter.

I read the article on substrate(http://www.caudata.org/cc/articles/substrate1.shtml) and have river rocks and I am having the falling food problem lol . Now I want to add sand to fill in the spaces but I do not know what size sand to purchase.

I recall the article saying that most sand in the pet stores is medium and I see that you have a link for Caribsea. I am considering purchasing their super naturals Moonlight Sand Premium Aquarium Substrate. Or PETCO Aquarium Sand. (http://www.petco.com/N_13425_4294956558_4294958033_30/Fish-Gravel-And-Substrates-Sand-Freshwater-Fish.aspx?cmref=PetType&cmrefv=Freshwater+Fish&cmrefr=5000&cmrefid=13425&cmrefpf=1)

Or if anyone has any other recomendations aka pool filtersand and where to get it please feel free to chime in.
I'm just worried about what size I should get...I don't want to make her sick or ruin a filter.

Also with her possibly kicking up the sand will it harm her gills or stomach?

Thank you in advance!!
