Would any of you know how much cold this species can tolerate in winter? Could they possible overwinter at 4c?

Well N. beyeri is a southern species where the winters aren't harsh. 4 degrees celsius could be borderline risky. Given their range and habitat I'd stay on the warmer side with those. You should try N. maculosus if you 're gonna keep them cold.

Yes, Im aware of their distribution. However, I have plants from florida doing well outside here in z6, fish from florida doing well and breeding in my animal room overwintered at four degrees, turtles the same. So, anyone with practical experience? I could keep them at anywhere betwin 15 and 25 in summer dependingon reconmendations.

I don't have experience with beyeri, but I overwinter dwarf sirens from Florida outside, and their ponds freeze over for a month or so, and I've never had any problems with them. Northern Florida does occasionally get snow and frosts and often has air temperature average lows near 4C or so during January, too.

If you're worried, you could always use a heater to raise the temps a few degrees.
