i got 2.2 from my local fish shop (lfs) about 2 weeks ago, one male is huge- 13 inches- these guys seem mostly to lurk, i am told they eat just about anything, but so far its only been worms they will take. here are some photos

and here is his hand - it looks like it should be a right hand but its the left

so far 1.2 are in a 55 and no problems -they all seem to huddle together where ever they are-they move from place to place each night when the timer kicks off-but they mostly seem to end up under the same cover during the day-and they have 4 different options for cover-they all pile into the same area despite it being crowded and them sitting on each other, sometimes its 2 heads facing out the log cover 1 way and 1 head facing out the back...

yeah but im keeping the second male alone, i left the big one in with the girls, no problem as of yet but im keeping an eye out, like i said these guys just seem to be mopers-they dont shy from me they just look on dolefully and pump their gills-i wonder if they will ever equate me with a food dispenser.
