Hey yall I finally got 2 axi's. I have always wanted them and now I do. Everything has been great with them until recently. I believe its a temp issue which ive been searching around for the best method to bring down the temp, also with summer coming, i am concerned.
I've seen the DYI, and everything.
I havent seen a canister tank stored in a mini fridge or freezer. Has anyone tried this or heard of? I think the flow is to fast so i would add some copper to the in/out for more surface area.
Instead of just copper tubing I would have the canister with 2 holes for the in/out takes which would make it more simpler.
What do yall think of this?

ya I have 4 120mm fans but its not doing what i need it to do. Need some other way to cool down this Texas weather

Additionally, if the tank fan doesn't quite do the trick, you could drop a couple ice cubes into the tank every so often to keep the temperature cooler. Or you can put a frozen water bottle in there to float, as a more long term solution. But MAKE SURE you do not put an ice pack into the tank, as there is risk of it breaking/leaking, exposing your axie to harmful chemicals, which could kill them! Hope I could help you:D
