New Axolotl owner here!

Ok thanks for the tip! When she wasn't eating what I was trying her on were long fat night crawlers and she seemed like she didn't like them at all, I could get her to eat one and it took a lot of enticing. I just fed her one red worm that was about 3inches long so I'll offer her a few more.

Could her reluctance to eat the large night crawlers be because in the past all she had ever ate was a frozen brine shrimp cube ever fewish days?

Possibly - it can take them a while to get used to new food - one of mine was pellet fed until I got him and it took a good week to persuade him to take whole worms!

Patience and perseverance is the key - maybe work your way up to whole big worms slowly!
