New Axolotl owner!

Hello, and thank you for having me in this forum! I am new to Axolotl-I just recently discovered them, but I am completely fascinated! I teach a high school Animal Science class, and have introduced my class to my 2 juvenile Axolotl. I have a leucistic and a wild type, gender unknown at this time. I am planning to get a melanoid in the next month or so, it is just not ready to go yet. I have been all over this site recently trying to consume as much information as I can to be a great Axolotl owner!
