New Axy, feed how often

Ive read as much as I can but can find a definitive answer.
We got our first Axy this weekend & have 1 question:

How often do I feed it and how much shall I feed it?

he/she has been fed once on a whole cube of beefheart and "seems" to have eaten it all. I say seems, because we had to go out and I cant see any leftovers in the tank. I know it was fed 2 days before in the shop on bloodworms.

1 mouthful every day or at least every 2nd day should be allright for adult axies ( > 15cm )

Mammal meat is not indicated for axies over a long period of time.

Thanks Ive read that page. I do have alternative food (gotta start somewhere). The bizzare thing is that on the pack it says this is what your fish would eat naturally. But I dont see how a fish can eat beefheart!
