Hello everyone!
I'd love to tell you all my name, where exactly I live, about my family and all those sweet things.
But sadly I know I shouldn't. You can all call me Rami, which might or might not be my real name.
I'm a young adult, that I can tell you all. And, I'm all new into keeping Axolotls. Reason why I'm so 'shy' here is obvious: these animals are not allowed in my land.
I too, like many norwegians (I assume), went over the border to Sweeden and got myself a lovely but illegal animal.
I have great experience in keeping fishes and furry animals but this is my first Axie ever and I might be much a novice to you all.
You might be thinking, what the **** was this guy thinking, right now. Well, I was thinking about a lot actually. I've always wished for a salamander of some sort since I was a child. I hunted down them in local waters in summer time and kept them at home for a few weeks before I released them again. It was different then, no one told me it wasn't allowed. But as I grew up I learned that these animals were not only illegal but that the local salamanders were even protected by law. It feels awful to know that I'm breaking the law now by keeping this axolotl but god, these creatures are just too much interesting.
As you now know my situation, understand this: my country is keeping information about these animals away from people like me.
Then please, help me learn more about them to be able to keep mine healthy and safe.
I have already learned a lot from this wonderful site, thank you so much!
Hopefully, if there are norwegians in here, you will contact me and we can chat a bit about problems we might meet in Norway. The gouverment really need to change their mind about these wonderful animals.
Make me feel welcomed please!
