This is a pic of what will become my bronze frog (Rana clamitans clamitans) tank. The caulk is setting in this picture, which is why the books are in there. The glass wall with rocks on it is not flush with the bottom of the tank to allow water to seep into the soil.

My plan is to have live plants on land so that the tank is also my own little indoor garden. My goals with the tank are to give the bronze frog more room to swim, as he spends little time on land in his current 10 gallon tank. As a result, my land space is limited, but it will be enough to grow my pothos plant and different mosses. I'll also vary the heterogeneity of the aquatic habitat with emergent branches, etc. There should finally be enough room for a water filter with this set up. I was wondering if anyone used duckweed or a similar aquatic plant in their set up, and whether or not they would recommend it for use in this tank?
