Hi Everyone,
I have been lurking around this forum for a while now reading up on Axolotls. I have to thank all the members here because any questions I had while researching I was able to find answers to by searching this forum, so thank you everyone
Two weeks ago I got my first axolotl and I am totally in love. He is a leucistic and his name is Po. When I got him he had no back legs, just little bumps and I am amazed at how much his legs have grown in the past two weeks. I can even see his little toes starting to form. Overall Po seems happy and healthy, but my only concern is his size. He is 8 months old and only just 3 inches long. From what I have read searching the forum it seems he should be bigger at 8 months, is it likely he will catch up? He was really thin and is now starting to fill out more which is nice to see. Overall I am completely in love with little Po and I am happy to have this forum to help me with my first axolotl.
Below are some pictures of Po, in the second you can really see how his little back legs are growing.
