Hi
I am new to the forum and hoping to learn from everyone's knowledge and experience.
I have many pets at home including 3 fire belly newts. But I have just been able to have an axolotol as a school pet. I work with 2/3 yr olds who have been totally fascinated with all aspects of our pet ' Mushu' so far.
I am using the experience to foster some STEAM based learning, so lots of focus on the biology of Mushu, how he/ she is different from us and other pets. Also lots of science learning so the children have helped me set up the tank and we are now in the process of cycling so they are helping to test the water etc. Mush is ATM tubed and living at my house, visit nursery once a week for the children to help feed.
Thanks
Jane
