hey guys!
just recently became an axolotl owner (yesterday!) and thought it'd be a good idea to join up here!! i think i've determined properly that the axolotl i have is female... there doesn't seem to be much swelling near her hind legs and the tips of her fingers/claws are dark greyish so i'm guessing she's already sexually mature too... she's a very active axolotl! so so adorable!
loves her food too! i'm teaching her to be hand fed and last night after she ate the earthworm she tried to take my finger too! LOL!
anwyays, hope to meet some other axolotl hobbyists from australia and around the world! =0)
