Hi there im new to keeping axies but was wondering if it wud be ok to put a small airstone in the tank?
Thank you vicky

Small airstones are good. They allow for more water circulation and increase surface area, allowing for more gaseous exchange. Axolotls are also known to play in the airstone bubbles.

If you have very small larvae, I wouldnt suggest an airstone until they were bigger though.

Do you have a filter on the tank?

Hello joan.No i dont have a filter.I read somewhere thats ok if you dont mind doing water chages. Is that right?I keep tropical fish and do water changes every week.i was going to do them at the same time.

Vicky axolotls produce a lot of waste so you'll need a filter. With a filter you'll still need to do weekly water changes as well.
