Hi,

I am looking for advice on what to do with a newly morphed salamander. While it was aquatic we were able to get it to eat frozen blood worms by feeding it with tweezers. Now that it is terrestrial (5 days now) we have given it earthworms (didn't touch them), very small feeder crickets (didn't touch them), frozen brine shrimp (didn't touch them). What do you suggest?

It probably won't eat for a few days. Keep trying with the bits of earthworms and small crickets.

Morphing is a very stressful time for amphibs, and it sometimes takes a few days to settle in.
