Newt Plants?

Similar to the other threads, when I decide to start my viv, I am planning on trying my hand at supplying some live plants for the newts. Now, I know I am wanting to try and get some Java Moss, but I was wondering about two old friends of min during my outdoors pond days:

Parrot Feather

and

Anachris

I found both to survive decently well in the cooler water of my pond, and it seems both would be favorites for newts to cling to and play with.

I have used both and they do well but the parrot feather seams to need alot of light.

My newts love elodea and cabomba, and java moss. I also have Amazon sword plant in with my hongkongensis, and it's thriving in spite of the lower temperatures.
