Hey, I saw this a while back and thought it was pretty interesting. I was just wondering how it turned out. It looks really cool, but is it practical? The plants make it look like it would be easy for the inhabitants to climb out and escape.I might consider getting one if it is good. The one on ebay is a bargain compared to similar versions that Carolina Bio sells.

Those sort of vivarium modules certainly are very attractive however I question how useful they would be for the majority of salamanders. Unless the tank was very large it seems that quite a bit of otherwise useful space is being taken up to create unuseful space. Also, if small salamanders are placed in complicated enclosures there is a tendancy for them to hide even more than usual. It may work well with some of the arboreal species (I have never kept any so I cannot say with certainty).
