Hello,

i have recently got a 6 month old axolotl, its very cute, to me, toothless (because that is her name) is 5 days old I got her on sunday.(not that i can tell shes a girl!)

anyway she rubs her nose sometimes in the corners of her container, I do have a tank to move her into but I've never kept one before and she is still really tiny. can anyone explain why she rubs her nose? is it a playful thing?

Never heard of nose rubbing. It might look like it, but it probably isn't.

Are you aware if the Nitrogen Cycle?

Have you done much research on Axolotls?

Do you mean snuffling on the floor and in the corners like a dog?
Normal behaviour, in the wild they would have been rooting for grubs and insect larvae in the silt and mud. I think it's rather cute.
