Well, a posted a few months ago that i obtained some tadpoles, and you would be pleased to know that they are grown up.

It turns out that they were seperate species, i didn't get a chance to ask what the smaller one's where since i released them pretty quick.

But now the large ones are little frogs, but im not sure what they are.
Sorry i have no pictures, i can't find the USB cord that connects my camera to the computer.

but i'll try my best to describe them.

Their back is olivey green with some small red dots on it, and also a thin gold line straight from the start of the head to the tail nub. They have a gold tip on their nose and their eyes are bluish-greyish with a small, round pupil.

their limbs are grey and have white speckles. they really are unusual looking frogs.
I think they might be burying frogs since they like to bury into the aquarium gravel with nothing but their head poking out. (quite humerous sight really xD)

and also because the place i got them from does not have a all-year round supply of water. only in winter. In summer it's just dry and empty. It's actually a man-made trench that stretches along the entire property to drain rain water i guess.

I also remember digging at the walls of the trench in summer when i was seven and found a small frog in the dirt.

So, thanks in advance if anyone can identify them c:

oh, and i live in perth, western australia by the way.

nevermind, i looked on a few sites and discovered they are banjo frogs :D
the website said they bury backwards into the ground with their hind legs which was a dead-giveaway.

so glad you found out what they are,
i dont know the first thing about frogs so could of looked for days without success lol

aka the pobblebonk. I think I like that name better than banjo frog. Pobblebonk sounds cool!
