i recently introduced a male albino into my tank after my cota died. axceel (girl) likes him.
i read in another forum that when albino's turns pink its like blushing, moby's tail has turned pink. maybe i should have asked this in the breeding forum....
could it be water quality though?

they generally turn pink from stress or heat... i very much doubt about the blushing thing!

Sometimes they turn pink when they are excited. Mine go like that when its feeding time.

is it being more active?. when axies are active there skin tends to go darker because more blood flow. it could also be heat causing the metabalism to increase which also causes more blood flow. like sharn i also highly doubt the blushing thing. i would not worry to much unless you see other symptoms of illness.

cool! yeah he is very active compared to when he was at the store. thanx for the help
